While our world is increasingly online, 67% of internet users live in countries facing internet censorship challenges*, marking a decade-long decline in internet freedom. From Iran to the Philippines, China to Costa Rica, government efforts to censor the internet for political ends threaten the media’s role in fostering public awareness. 

For us free press advocates and publishers, internet censorship is our nemesis. Our websites are blocked where our audiences live, making it hard for them to reach us. In response, we’ve taken a stand by developing 451 tools, empowering ourselves to bypass internet censorship and help us reach them. With 451 tools, we can ensure our content remains online, sans VPN.
